What Thanksgiving Means to Me

Most of the people in the US celebrate Thanksgiving and enjoy time with their families and eat, wait, I meant show gratitude for what they have.

My Thanksgiving is definitely different. My daughter is an Irish dancer and starting with Thanksgiving and continuing through the weekend after, she is competing at Oireachtas. It’s a long weekend for the parents that attend because you either spend time waiting for your child to compete, waiting on awards or just killing time. But it’s important to her so we gladly (mostly) do it.

Now since my blogs are generally about my Avon business, you might be wondering how a strangely named Irish dance competition fits in. Well while others were waiting and killing time, I was working my business. I was contacting customers, team members, and potential new team members. I was taking orders and planning for the next campaign. However, I was also playing cards with my family and hanging out with friends. The point is, I can manage my business from anywhere using just my smart phone. That’s pretty cool if you ask me.

Take a moment to think about how easily your own Avon business could fitbinto your day. You will never go wrong investing in yourself! Find out more here.
